Shopping Van Program

The Olde Forge van takes registered clients shopping to help them maintain their independence. Contact the Olde Forge if you wish to register for the program or reserve your spot on any particular trip. Talk to Christie at 613-829-9777 extension 231 or email her at c.may@oldeforge.ca. Grocery Bus Program

The grocery bus travels to the Metro grocery store in Bells Corners at 3655 Richmond Road every Thursday. Clients have an hour and fifteen minutes to do their shopping generally between the hours of 10:15 and 11:30 a.m. We pick you up and return you to designated apartment buildings within the Olde Forge catchment area. Thanks to the Redwoods and The WestWood Retirement Homes, who sponsor the program, the grocery bus is a free service that we offer to our clients.
